Running Accomplishments:

I didn't run competitively in high school or college but have enjoyed running since the age of fifteen.

My mileage has been around 20 miles a week for the past 3 or 4 years but extremely inconsistent.

I am wanting to become a more focused runner and think this site will be a great way to track my progress.

I have had minor injuries and often ride the stationary bike to cross train.

Recent Races:

2011 Greek Festival 5k 16:40

2011 Oktoberfast 5k (track) 17:07

2011 Crack of Dawn 8k (Down Millcreek Canyon): 26:29

2012 Running of the Leopards 5k (15:53)

Salt Lake 10 Miler (56:04)

Short-Term Running Goals:

1600m: 4:30

5k: 16 min (track or honest course)

10k: 33 min

These are reasonable goals. I think by the end of 2012 I can reach them, if the world doesn't end.

Stay injury free and continue to enjoy running!

Planned Races

Crack of Dawn 8k (6/2)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.  Learn more about the sport and keep improving.

I plan on transitioning to running longer distances and enter longer races as my mileage builds. Hope to be averaging 50 miles a week by the time the year ends.

Personal:

I enjoy being outside, golf, cycling, mixed martial arts, reading and laughing as much as possible.

My girlfriend is awesome and supports my running.

A nice April/May morning!

Rob M and I are hitting the Highland track tonight - I'm running 1000s, and I don't know really what he is doing. Just thought I'd let you know in case you're itching to crank out some reps

These temps make me psyched for spring. Although I am afraid our spring is going to consist of one blizzard after another.

Good running w/ you again last night! Our If our track group gets bigger by 1 person each week, its going to be like a full team out there by April!

The weather was almost perfect for a run. It looks like you got in a good one with some really great company.
